With a career spanning 15+ years at the forefront of digital change, Michael Kwan has seen technology transform industries firsthand. From his time as a producer at Yahoo! Malaysia when it was the nation’s #1 portal, to founding Pixl, his digital agency, he has always focused on using technology to work smarter. Since using AI in 2022, he saw its 10x potential instantly, but he also saw a major gap: many talented professionals were either not using AI, or were barely scratching the surface with simple one-line questions.
This inspired Michael’s mission: to bridge this skill gap. Drawing on his past experience leading tech teams as a CTO, his focus is practical, not theoretical. He designed the “Evolve or Be Left Behind” series specifically to transform any professional, regardless of their tech background, into a highly productive, AI-powered professional. His method is simple: show teams how to get powerful, relevant results in a fraction of the time, moving them from simple questions to true creative partnership with AI.
Michael doesn’t just teach AI; he actively builds with it as the founder of WebX.my, an AI-powered platform recognized by MyStartup (Cradle). But while his technical career includes serving major Malaysian brands like BOH Tea and EcoFirst Bhd, his true passion is training. For him, nothing is more rewarding than seeing a participant’s face light up when they realize they can now do a full day’s worth of research or create a stunning client presentation in under an hour. Seeing teams succeed and knowing he is helping to upskill our Malaysian workforce is the energy that drives him to keep this program at the cutting edge.
